This is a survival mode where your abilities will be tested to the limits, no checkpoints, and no time to rest. Get the objectives done and make sure to survive. Dynasty Warriors 5 is a solid game for the franchise, while the evolution in the graphics isn't too notable, they are still great. The gameplay has improved just a bit, but sadly it still gets a little repetitive.
Now, when you add the Xtreme Legends expansion, you get to spice things up a bit. Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends adds a lot of replay value into the game, making it more fun and durable.
It is excellent for the player that thinks the game is still too easy and is looking for more of a challenge. The narrative in Dynasty Warriors 5 is great and this is one of the things they really improved over the last one.
